Remove metadata from MP4 files
MP4 videos carry metadata in their moov atom — creation time, GPS location recorded by your phone, device model and encoder strings, even XMP. A video shared online can reveal where it was shot, when, and on what device — without a single frame giving it away visually.

Questions, answered
Does stripping affect video quality?
Zero impact. PureClear edits only the metadata atoms — audio and video streams are copied untouched with no re-encoding. Same pixels, same sound.
Can a video really contain GPS data?
Yes — phones routinely write location into video metadata. It's one of the most overlooked privacy leaks because nobody expects a video file to know where it was filmed.
What about the 'shot on' device info?
That's the device and encoder metadata — make, model, software version. PureClear removes all of it.
