Remove metadata from MOV files
MOV is Apple's QuickTime container — the default for iPhone video. It shares MP4's ISOBMFF heritage, so it carries the same metadata atoms: GPS coordinates, timestamps, camera model. Every MOV you AirDrop carries its location history along for the ride.

Questions, answered
Is MOV metadata different from MP4?
Structurally they're cousins — both built on ISOBMFF. The same location, timestamp and device leaks apply to both, and PureClear handles them identically.
Will it still play in QuickTime after stripping?
Yes. Media data is untouched — the file remains a perfectly valid MOV that plays everywhere it did before.
Does it clean the video part of Live Photos?
The .mov component of a Live Photo carries the same metadata atoms. Strip it the same way — upload the .mov here.
